About the Bootcamp
Skillup Africa Media (SUAM) is the digital media arm of Skillup Africa. We train creators who can compete — not just people who “know tools”. This cohort is designed for exceptionally talented individuals ready for discipline, deadlines, feedback, and real output.
The training is free. But if you get in, attendance is mandatory and the pace is intense.
It’s hands-on: practice, critique, rework, repeat — until your output becomes professional.

12 weeks training → 6 months paid internship → job placement support for top performers.
What you’ll learn
We train on the core skills employers and clients actually need — and we infuse Generative AI across all of them.
Visual design, branding consistency, layouts, social media creatives, and speed with quality.
Short-form + long-form edits, sound, pacing, captions, exports, and storytelling through motion.
Scripting, storytelling, camera confidence, content planning, and production discipline.
Distribution, analytics, audience growth, campaign thinking, and content that performs.
AI is not a separate “track”. It’s how you work. Learn prompting, ideation, scripting assistance, design/editing acceleration, and ethical use.

We’re building a real pathway from skills to income. The bootcamp is the entrance — performance is the filter.

After the first 12 weeks, selected participants will be offered a full intensive film making and cinematography internship.
